AI voices for stories and conversations

Give your podcast two perspectives

Build a scripted podcast segment around a question worth answering. Give the host a clear, steady voice and the guest a contrasting delivery so listeners can follow the exchange. In Multi-Speaker Text to Speech, write each line, assign its speaker and arrange the conversation before generating one audio file. This works for introductions, two-host explainers and interview-style storytelling. Start with a short exchange to hear how the voices work together. Then develop the discussion, listen for abrupt transitions and revise the lines before adding the audio to your episode.

Host

What makes a story worth hearing?

Guest

A question you want answered.

Let the narrator set the scene

Bring a written scene to life without making every character sound alike. Use a narrator to establish the setting, then let separate voices carry the dialogue. For an extended article or chapter, Long Text to Speech lets you organize the narration into smaller segments. For a scene with several characters, the dialogue editor keeps each role and line together. Try the same passage with different voices before choosing your cast. Review names, pauses and changes of speaker, then download the version that gives your story the pace you intended.

Narrator

The light under the door went out.

Maya

Did you hear that?

Leo

Stay here. I’ll check.

Turn a lesson into a conversation

Turn lesson material into listening practice built around situations learners recognize. A customer ordering tea, a traveler asking directions or two classmates planning a visit gives each voice a purpose. Write both sides of the exchange, choose suitable voices and adjust the speaking speed for your learners. You can create a short example, ask learners to listen for a detail, and then revise the wording for another exercise. Pair the finished audio with your own vocabulary notes or questions. Review pronunciation and the meaning of the script before using it in a lesson.

Customer

Could I have a tea, please?

Server

Of course. To stay or to go?

Rehearse the moments that matter

Make workplace training easier to follow with a short, concrete conversation. Give a customer and a support colleague different voices, then write the response you want learners to examine. A second version can show how the wording changes the interaction. Use the dialogue editor to arrange each exchange, listen back and refine it before sharing. The resulting audio can accompany your own slides, onboarding notes or practice activities. For a narrated introduction, use Text to Speech; when a visual presenter helps, take completed audio into AI Talking Avatar with an authorized image.

Questions about AI Voice Studio

What can I create with an AI Voice Studio?

Voicv brings voice design, voice cloning, speech generation and transcription into one workspace. Start with a written script, a description of a voice or an authorized audio recording. Choose the tool that matches your material, adjust its available settings and review the result. Your starting point might be a short voiceover, a dialogue scene or a recording you want to turn into editable text.

Which text-to-speech tool should I choose?

Use Text to Speech for a single script in one voice. Choose Long Text to Speech for articles, lessons or chapters you want to organize into segments. Use Multi-Speaker Text to Speech when different roles need different voices. Start with a short sample to check pronunciation and pacing before developing the rest of the script.

How are AI Voice Design and Voice Cloning different?

Voice Design starts with a description of tone, accent and delivery, then produces candidates to compare. Voice Cloning starts with an audio sample you have permission to use and creates a reusable voice. The tools also work together: open a design candidate in Voice Cloning to save a voice for future scripts. Test it on a short passage first.

Can I make a podcast or a scene with several characters?

Yes. The dialogue editor supports up to four speakers, each with a saved voice. Write or import the lines, assign the roles and arrange the order. Generation produces one audio file containing the conversation. Listen to transitions between voices, then re-edit the script if a line or exchange needs a different rhythm.

How can I turn a recording into a useful script?

Upload audio in Speech to Text or record in the tool. Review the transcript against the recording, especially names, numbers and overlapping voices. You can shape it into interview notes, lesson material or a narration script. Edit repeated phrases and spoken filler before generating a new voiceover from the text.

Can I use the audio in a talking avatar video?

Upload an avatar image and select completed text-to-speech audio, or upload your own audio file. This can turn a narrated introduction, lesson excerpt or character message into video. Settle the wording and listen to the audio first, then review the finished video. Use images and audio you are authorized to use.

Where do my voices and generated results go?

Open My Assets to revisit your work. All contains generated results, while cloned voices have their own Voices tab. Use the actions available for each result to download or re-edit it. Before generating again, check the Credits shown for your settings and the tool’s input limits. A short trial passage helps you decide what to change.
